Clean Eating: The Unfad Diet That Still Works
What “clean” should mean
Food that still looks like food: meat, fish, eggs, dairy, fruit, vegetables, potatoes, rice, oats, beans, olive oil. Not a moral ranking of kombucha. The advantage is satiety per calorie, not magic micronutrients you cannot get elsewhere.
What it should not mean
No sugar ever. No white rice. No eating out. That is a fad in a linen shirt. Rigid rules break on Fridays. A plan that includes pizza night is a plan you can keep.
How to use it with training
Build meals around protein, then add starch on lifting days, then plants because they fill the plate. Track for a short stretch if you like, then stop. See foods worth keeping around and a pantry that works when you are busy.
